Welcome to the Meinig webpage. I decided that it would be a good family project to learn how to create and maintain a site. We have many interests and adventures to document in this new media. I am interested in archiving some of my interests (while I can still remember them!). Among the topics I hope to document are : Mountaineering (I began climbing in college and medical school), Underwater scenery and life ( I was certified when I was ten years old when scuba diving was very obscure and exotic, automobiles (I have been restoring and racing BMW's for several decades...), Sled dogs ( I have been running a Siberian Husky team for nearly 20 years) astrophotography ( the cosmos is limitless in its aesthetic and intellectual possibilities), and family life (perhaps the most fluid and enjoyable topic....). Hopefully, each family member will add his or her spin......
