1939 BMW 327/28.This car was restored in 2002 and is enjoyed on weekend drives and at carshows. The car was originally owned by BMW factory motorcycle racer Georg "Schorsch" Maier in 1940. The car was located in Chicago as part of an estate sale. It had been partially restored in 1984 and then forgotten....Restoration was done in Colorado Springs with guidence from BMW VintageClub and BMW Vintage Register members.
