M6 The Butterfly Cluster in Scorpius. This open cluster is 1,585 light years from earth. It is visible to the unaided eye as a fuzzy spot at the end of the tail of Scorpius. With some (or alot) imagination, one can picture a butterfly (maybe) Hint: look for the "V" antennae in the middle of the photo.... In any case, its a fine summer evening sight in binoculars.....
