The BMW 1800 TI/SA is a legendary car....Only 200 of these sedans were built in 1965 with factory equipped Weber carburettors, 5 speed transmission, modified engine, drilled hood and trunk and other modifications for racing. In fact the BMW importer Hoffmann motors would only sell the TI/SA to buyers who had competition licenses. This particular TI/SA raced at the initial Govenor's Cup Race at Sebring-the first ever "Trans-Am" event. The car was driven by Bill Cambell and rolled. It was repaired and later sold as a street car in Florida. I acquired it in 1999 and have begun an extensive restoration!
