AKC/CKC Ch. Manitou's Dersu of Kaila

Suzi was our foundation bitch. She was also a very capable lead dog in my sleddog teams of the mid-90's. She was a wonderful pet and was known around the house as "suzi puppy". She had a fondness for marshmellows and kennel escapes! She came to us from the Price's Kaila kennel (Genuine Bleu x Starina) in 1991 and died of breast cancer in 2000. Suzi was a great mother and gave us a couple of nice litters....Many remember her for her antics in the show ring. Suzi is pictured here with our friend and handler Nanci McWright.
